but I don't understand this new payment method, i know i have already payed for extended icon usage, that then was was turned off when my journal went from payed to free back again (silly really, why couldn't it be free but with extra -already payed for- extra icons? sounds like paying twice, first for the actual icons, then for the ability to actually *use* them)
but now apparently no extra and everything goes with the one thing payment. or?
what does "starting from 2$ a month" really mean?

will i get a refund on my old payed for icons? i had at-least 4 months worth of extra icon time :/

You have to be a paid user in order to have the extras. Once you become a paid user again, your four months of extra icons will still be there - the time doesn't run out when you're a free user, I don't think (it would be bitchy if it did). But if you never become a paid user again, no, I don't believe they will refund you the money for the extra icons. If you're not going to be a paid user, though, it's probably worth contacting them and asking for a refund or for the money to transfer to something else.

The new LJ payment system annoys me too. You need to have a paid account for any of the extras to happen, and when your paid account goes away, so do all the extras. :(
