nasasieuuaahhh...... :groan:
well. ok,
it is really typical, really, that just when I had finally gotten used to mothers computer, finally getting everything back to approximately normal, my email in the inbox and being able to set things in order for Diorama and being able to do what I (well should) did do last year: namely wish everybody a happy christmas and get loads of merry birthday whisiies ;)
that this would strike.
my computer is, as you all know by now, completely moo.
new is however that I somehow managed to fux0r mom's computer to. it would not start no matter what we did, it wouldn't even start in safety mode, it would just restart and restart and restart the boot prompt ad nausium.
so I had to install XP again. The XP installation however, likes to format the computers' partition before anything happens, so moms C: hardrive was rolled back to birth and everything deleted, it works fine now however.
(the really ironic bit is that on the D: partition (where I kept all of *my* files) nothing has been deleted and it works fine. If I'd only...
however.. because of this, all internet installation settings and junk is also deleted, and I can't seem to get it working, I tried half a dusin things but it is of no use. I do not know how, and it is dire because mother uses the internet for paying bills and whatnot.
To sum it up. since only #nr people have responded to my card-poll, only the #nr people will get a card.
and no, putting your name and address in here or there NOW will not help because this is the only time before christmas I will have access to a computer with internet, so unfortunately anything you say, write or put here won't be read by me before the 6th of january.
(meaning that the diorama poster will not. be there for download. seriously I gotta prioritise my limited time. I actually typed this response up in beforehand (on the 4th) as to not waste to much valuable time)

also I would like to wish orcidee a belated birthday, (I would have wished it before when I remembered it on the 3rd, but I have no computer

yes, its my birthday today.. rather a bit melancholic as I feel that I'm spending it in a cocoon far away from my friends ;'(
our next 'project-blah' is for the space system, everyone is doing a planet and I'm Jupiter. :)
